Winnie Winnebago
My name is Winnie Winnebago and I am now on the hunt for my forever home!
I am about 11 months old and I was rescued after I made it very clear that I wanted a new life. I was almost run over by a car as I darted in front of it. This kind person stopped across the highway and called to me and of course I knew this was the start of something great! I charged across the highway and jumped on top of her car and started meowing and screaming at her through the windshield! I think she was a little taken a back by me and just sat staring at me. When she opened her car door I jumped under her car because I was not too sure she would be kind to me. She bent under her car and called to me and I came running over and she scooped me up. I was so hungry that I started eating her fruits in her car so she stopped and got some cat food from her trunk. I quickly devoured two cans of cat food on my drive home to a new start.
I was told to sit quietly in the passenger seat but I insisted that I wanted to curl up in a ball on this kind persons lap and enjog the warmth and quietness. Everytime she would start talking to me I would start screaming again so we both rode in silence as I got to nap. I now love being petted and talked to. I am spayed and have put on lots of weight since my very malnourished days.
